Rancho Bernardo Neighborhood Watch
Meet our Board for 2021
My wife and I are both born and raised here in San Diego. I'm a former Paramedic turned business owner, happily married, and we just had our first child. We are new to Rancho Bernardo, but feel incredibly blessed to be in such a wonderful community. We are looking forward to contributing to our neighborhood and raising our family here.
I've been a resident of Rancho Bernardo for 14 years. I have been a block captain and have been on the advisory committee of RB Neighborhood Watch for about a year and am the Webmaster for our website.
I am married and we both have adult children. My husband and I are CERT Certified and both have an "Expert" level amateur radio license. We are active in local emergency radio clubs and overall emergency preparedness. We enjoy sharing emergency preparedness information to help our neighbors and community.
I've been a resident of Rancho Bernardo for 30 years. I'm married with five wonderful adult children and four amazing grandchildren. In my spare time, I play soccer and serve others by volunteering in my community.
We moved to WESTWOOD from Lake Zurich, Illinois over 38 years ago and never looked back. While raising our 2 (now adult) daughters, I volunteered on the Westwood Club board, was a Girl Scout leader, an Oasis tutor at Westwood School, and more recently as a Neighborhood Watch Captain. I believe we need to be engaged in our community and keep informed. Rancho Bernardo has so much to offer families and seniors. I am an avid scrapbooker, love to walk my dog, and enjoy a good cup of coffee!
Advisory Board At Large
My husband, John, and I have been married 32 years and have two children that graduated from Poway Unified School District (PUSD) having lived in Westwood 18 years. I'm a dedicated advocate for military families and education for over 30 years. Additionally, formed a Military Family Ministry locally, elected to several PUSD Boards, and initiated projects to enhance and protect our community. It has been a pleasure joining many organizations in RB such as North County Chamber Association, RB Planning Board, RB Neighborhood Watch, and other civic groups. My passion is strengthening families and communities.
